Zhalla Bobhata is a comedy set in a village. The villagers try to help Appa (Dilip Prabhavalkar), an old barber, recover from his illness as he suddenly stops talking after witnessing an event. However, everyone is more interested in discovering what Appa knows about an unfaithful woman in the village. Every man is worried if the secret involves his own wife. What follows is a series of funny incidents and chaos.
