Shivaay (Ajay Devgn), a mountaineer in the Himalayas, makes a living by arranging treks and expeditions for tourists. While guiding Olga (Erika Kaar), a beautiful tourist from Bulgaria, on a trek, he rescues her from an avalanche. They fall in love and Olga becomes pregnant. Leaving her daughter Gaura behind with Shivaay despite his pleadings, Olga returns home. Eight years pass and one day Gaura comes across the last letter sent by her mother. She entreats her father to take her to Bulgaria and they land up in Sofia looking for Olga. As their hunt continues, Shivaay comes across a child trafficking racket of Bulgarians and saves one child. He gets recognised by the media for his undertaking and asks the Indian embassy to help him trace Olga. Anushka (Sayyesha Saigal), a young officer, is assigned to him. The plot takes a twist as the traffickers chase Shivaay and abduct Gaura. In trying to rescue her, he unintentionally kills an officer. He is arrested and charged with trafficking since no one believes the fair-skinned Gaura to be his daughter. Desperate to save his daughter, Shivaay escapes, killing another officer. Anushka advises him to surrender. However, seeing his desperation and non-stop efforts to save children getting trafficked, she decides to help him even if it means breaking the law. Is Gaura finally rescued? Do the deep connections between the police and political forces stop Shivaay from getting to the bottom of the child-trafficking racket? The rest of the film is full of thrilling twists and turns!
