Haqeeqat

One of the earliest Hindi war films, Chetan Anand’s Haqueeqat is set against the Sino-Indian War of 1962. A platoon of Indian soldiers is trapped in the hilly terrain of Ladakh and considered dead. Captain Bahadur Singh (Dharmendra) finds them amidst the harsh landscape but they are surrounded by Chinese soldiers and struggle to find a way out. Shot in Ladakh, the realistic battle scenes capture the courage and determination of the soldiers amidst severe hardships.
