Monalisa Bagal to star in musical love story Tu Fakt Ho Mhan

Monalisa Bagal will play the lead in the upcoming Marathi movie Tu Fakt Ho Mhan (2022). Like the title indicates, it’s a romantic movie and it marks the directorial debuts of Dr Ganeshkumar Patil and Bhaskar Daberao. 

Patil has also produced the film along with Kiran Baliram Chavhan. Narendra Hirawat and Shreyansh Hirawat, who have produced and distributed plenty of Hindi films over the decades, will be presenting the film under their banner NH Studioz. 

Speaking about the reason for signing the film, Bagal said in a statement, “I was eager to do the film as it’s a musical love story. This is the kind of love story that we might be seeing around us. The film has a story that asks how does one live up to someone’s love. It looks at the way society looks at love.” 

Tu Fakt Ho Mhan will see Nikhil Vairagar star opposite Bagal. The film also stars Ganesh Deshmukh, Tukaram Bidkar, Pushpa Chaudhary, Savita Hande, Dr Ganeshkumar Patil himself and Zoya Khan. Actress Manasi Naik will be featured in a guest appearance. 

Tu Fakt Ho Mhan is due to be released in theatres on 14 October.
