Challe Mundiyan trailer: Confusion and chaos reign in this situational comedy


Starring Ammy Virk, Mandy Thakkar, Kulwinder Billa, Karamjit Anmol, the film is due to be released on SonyLIV on 23 September.

Ammy Virk and Mandy Thakhar will be seen on screen together in the Punjabi feature Challe Mundiyan (2022), which is due to be released on SonyLIV. Virk was recently seen in Laung Laachi 2 (2022), alongside Neeru Bajwa, while Thakhar recently announced her maiden production Kikli starring Wamiqa Gabbi and Jobanpreet Singh.

In the trailer, we see Pammi (Virk) being smitten with Jassi (Thakkar). He tries to enquire about her address and finds her playing with a baby. Assuming that she is married, he is heartbroken and resigns himself to marrying another girl.

Meanwhile, Jassi waits for Pammi but then she too, opts for an arranged marriage and gets engaged to another man. Both of them are to be married on the same date to different people. 

To add to the drama and confusion, Kulwinder Billa’s character is in love with Pammi’s fiancée. Then begins the attempt to break off Pammi’s engagement. Adding to the confusion at the end of the trailer is when we see Virk with a Caucasian woman and a child. 

The situational comedy features some hilarious dialogues and funny moments. The background score channels wedding music, setting up the context for the film.

Directed by Suni Puri, and produced by Guramritpal Singh, the film also stars Kulwinder Billa, Karamjit Anmol, BN Sharma, and Nisha Bano in prominent roles.

Written by Raju Verma, the cinematography is by Akash Pandey and Manoj Shaw. The film is due to be released on SonyLIV on 23 September.
