Maujaan Hi Maujaan, starring Gippy Grewal and Binnu Dhillon, announced

Smeep Kang is known for directing the superhit Punjabi language comedy Carry On Jatta (2012), starring Gippy Grewal and Binnu Dhillon. Thereafter, he made the sequel Carry On Jatta 2 (2018) which repeated the resounding success of the first film. The next part Carry On Jatta 3 has also been announced, bringing together most of the cast members from the two films.

The male leads of the Carry on Jatta series, Grewal and Dhillon will reunite with Kang for the recently announced film Maujaan Hi Maujaan, which will also star Karamjit Anmol.

Dhillon shared the poster of the film on Instagram. Described as being ‘a deaf, dumb and blind comedy,' the poster takes inspiration from three wise monkeys maxim that embodies the principle of ‘see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil’.

While Kang is known for his rib-tickling comedies, it remains to be seen how this theme will be woven into the film.

Produced by Amardeep Grewal, the dialogues are by Naresh Kathooria, who is a frequent collaborator of the producer. Grewal’s latest release Yaar Mera Titlian Warga (2022), starring Tanu Grewal and Karamjit Anmol, was also written by Kathooria.
