Brahmastra Part One: Shiva trailer to be released on 15 June; see latest video

The makers of Ayan Mukerji’s long-awaited Brahmastra Part One: Shiva have announced that the first trailer of the film will be released on 15 June. Starring Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Amitabh Bachchan, the film is being backed by Karan Johar’s banner Dharma Productions. 

The trailer announcement was made via a VFX-heavy video. It seems like Kapoor, Bhatt, Bachchan and the rest of the actors from the film — Nagarjuna Akkineni and Mouni Roy — are present in a faraway land where mysterious incidents take place. They all seem to be a part of a major mission. 

The most striking feature of the new video is the powerful and overwhelming background score. However, the visuals aren’t as impressive. There is an overdose of CGI in this video. 

Brahmastra has been in the making for seven years. The film got postponed due to various reasons, including the COVID-19 pandemic. The team completed shooting the film’s final schedule finally in March this year.  

Brahmastra is to be released in theatres in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada on 9 September.
