The release of the Sonalee Kulkarni and Sachit Patil-starrer Tamasha Live has been postponed to 15 July.

The film, helmed by Sanjay Jadhav, was due to arrive in theatres on 24 June. Kulkarni announced the new release date on Instagram.

Tamasha Live is about two viewership-hungry television news anchors played by Kulkarni and Patil. This is their fourth outing together after Kshanbhar Vishranti (2010), which was also directed by Patil, Samudra (2010) and Classmates (2015).

Speaking about the film, Planet Marathi's Akshay Bardapurkar said, "After the overwhelming response of the audience to the teaser, we have decided to bring this movie to the audience soon. Tamasha Live is a musical feast for the audience. The film manages to preserve its folk art and give it a modern twist."

Produced by Planet Marathi, the film also stars Siddharth Jadhav, Hemangi Kavi Dhumal, Bharat Jadhav, Nagesh Bhosale, Mrunal Deshpande, Yogesh Soman, Pushkar Jog and Manmeet Pem.

Tamasha Live will now clash with the Rajkummar Rao and Sanya Malhotra- starrer Hit: The First Case (2022) and Phone Bhoot (2022), starring Katrina Kaif and Siddhant Chaturvedi.
