Main Te Bapu, the Punjabi-language film starring father and son Satish and Parmish Verma, will be released on 22 April.

Directed by Uday Pratap Singh and written by Jagdeep Warring, the film was initially slated to arrive in theatres in January.

Parmish Verma shared the news on Instagram, along with a poster of the film where he is seen picking up his father and sharing a warm moment. He wrote, “MainTeBapu are coming to win your hearts on 22nd April, 2022 in Cinemas near You (sic).”

The earlier poster for the film carried the line, ‘Like father, like son,’ indicating that the film will be a family drama with dollops of humour. Actress Sanjeeda Sheikh also stars in the film along with Sunita Dhir, Sukhi Chahal and Gurmeet Sajan.

Main Te Bapu has been produced by Parmish Verma Films and Omjee Star Studios.
