Runway 34 teaser: Ajay Devgn, Rakul Preet Singh face an impossible situation

The teaser of Ajay Devgn’s Runway 34 (2022) shows the actor-filmmaker as a pilot, captain Vikrant Singh, who finds himself in an impossible situation before landing an airliner.

He is joined by Rakul Preet Singh, who plays his co-pilot. They are told by an air traffic controller that runways are closed during a storm due to low visibility.

Captain Vikrant replies that they weren’t told this before they took off, indicating foul play. The teaser then cuts to Amitabh Bachchan’s character, Narayan Vedant, an investigator, who brings up the law of gravity. It is evident that the plane eventually lands but the teaser doesn't reveal the fate of the crew and passengers.

Runway 34 sets up a thrilling scenario of sabotage and intrigue in the skies. Boman Irani, Angira Dhar and Aakanksha Singh, who also star in the feature, have yet to make an appearance. The trailer will be unveiled on 21 March.

The film, which is inspired by true events, has been produced and directed by Devgn. The actor has previously directed U Me Aur Hum (2008) and Shivaay (2016).

The film is being produced by Kumar Mangat Pathak, Vikrant Sharma, Sandeep Harish Kewlani, Tarlok Singh Jethi, Hasnain Husaini and Jay Kanujia.

Runway 34 is due to be released on 29 April.
