Chandresh Bhatt’s Gujarati film Prem Prakaran (2022), which stars Gaurav Paswala, Deeksha Joshi and Esha Kansara, will be released theatrically on 11 March.

The teaser of the film was released earlier this week and shows the three leads in a love triangle. Paswala plays a singer-musician who acquires fame while Joshi and Kansara are two women who feature prominently in two stages of his life, before and after he becomes famous.

Joshi and Paswala’s characters have known each other since adolescence while Kansara connects with his character once he becomes a singer.

The actor also called the film a coming-of-age story as well as a musical.

He told the entertainment website ETimes, “The romantic, emotional, music genre will be etched in the minds of the audience. [Director Chandresh Bhatt] has always been best at portraying love and emotions. The teaser of the film was released recently and now we are aiming for something special to come out for Valentine's Day.”

Amit Trivedi has composed the score of a Gujarati film for the first time and has also sung a few tracks. Niren Bhatt has provided the lyrics for Trivedi’s compositions.

Prem Prakaran is being produced by Sanjay Bhatt and Cineaste Studio, in association with Vaishal Shah.
