Witnessed Akshay Kumar's discipline first time on Cuttputlli sets, says Rakul Preet Singh

After working with Ajay Devgn in De De Pyaar De (2019) and Runway 34 (2022), Rakul Preet Singh is now all set to act with another established star of the 1990s. She is starring opposite Akshay Kumar for the first time in Cuttputlli (2022).

Sharing her first experience with Akshay, the actress said in a statement, "I have always been a huge fan of Akshay sir. I had only heard of his discipline but now I witnessed it. I think he is amazing when it comes to loving [and] respecting his work, and being diligently involved in every process of it."

She added, "Also what I love about Akshay sir is that his energy on set is to bring everyone together and that's something I learned, so, all in all, it was an amazing experience.”

Directed by Ranjit M Tewari, Cuttputlli is about a serial killer who creates havoc in the north Indian hill station of Kasauli in Himachal Pradesh. Akshay plays a police officer who tries to nab him.

The upcoming Hindi film is the second association between Akshay, Tewari and Pooja Entertainment after Bell Bottom (2021).

Cuttputlli is due to be streamed on Disney+ Hotstar from 2 September.
