Sharad Kelkar's upcoming Hindi psychological thriller Deja Vu is expected to be released on Netflix.

The film's director Abhijeet Warang revealed to Cinestaan,  "If everything goes according to plan, Deja Vu will be released on Netflix on Diwali. The film was made in such a way that we felt OTT was the more suitable medium for it than theatres."

Deja Vu is a single-character film about a man who is suffering from psychological trauma. It was shot in a single location and features voice-overs by more than 30 actors.

"I will not reveal who these actors are because I want the audience to guess while watching the film," the filmmaker said.

Deja Vu went on the floors earlier this year and shooting concluded in April. The film marks Kelkar's debut as a leading man in a Hindi film.

The actor has received a lot of appreciation for his performances in supporting roles in the films Tanhaji (2020), Darbaan (2020), and the second season of Amazon Prime Video's The Family Man.
