Punjabi actor-singer Diljit Dosanjh’s much-awaited film Honsla Rakh hits theatres on Friday, 15 October, which also marks the festival of Dussehra.

In the run-up to the occasion, songs from the film are being released on YouTube. The latest track is 'Lalkaare', sung by Dosanjh.

Honsla Rakh is a romantic comedy directed by Amarjit Singh Saron and features a couple, played by Dosanjh and Shehnaaz Gill, who have an unplanned pregnancy. Following this, the wife separates from Dosanjh.

When the baby grows up to be a boy, the character played by Sonam Bajwa comes into Dosanjh’s life. But as things start to settle down for the protagonist, his wife returns. The song captures him caught between the two women and trying to keep one away from the other.

Avvy Sra’s music is catchy and is sure to be a feature at parties everywhere. The lyrics by Happy Raikoti are fun and uplifting, matching the mood of the song, which admires the dancing capability of the women.

The fun dance number features Dosanjh juggling two women, the female leads in the film, Gill and Bajwa. The choreography is beautifully done with hook steps that are sure to be imitated on the dance floor. Gill and Bajwa look beautiful in both Western and traditional attire that complements their Western and desi dance steps.
