Illegal (Season 2) trailer: Neha Sharma goes up against Piyush Mishra in this fierce legal feud

The courtroom drama Illegal returns for another round as lawyer Niharika Singh (Neha Sharma) is back to battle new cases, take on new rivals, and balance her complicated personal life. The savvy lawyer, who is breaking out on her own, warns that there are two types of enemies, those in front of you and those who work alongside you.

Niharika, who doesn’t trust people much, is going up against former mentor Janardhan Jaitley (Piyush Mishra), who is now aiming for the chief minister’s job. Both need to win the case in which they are opponents at any cost. The second series follows the cut-throat world of politics and business in Delhi.

Niharika meets old and new foes as she tries to get justice for her client. Will Jaitley be too strong a force for her to take on? Akshay Oberoi and Satyadeep Mishra return for round two while Parul Gulati and Tanuj Virwani join the cast as new characters.

With story and screenplay by Advaita Kala and dialogues by Aparna Nadig, the second season has been directed by Ashwini Chaudhary.
