A murder at the Sunflower housing society turns most of the residents and frequent visitors into suspects. The first trailer for the Zee5 web-series shows police officers played by Ranvir Shorey and Girish Kulkarni beginning their investigation, with frequent run-ins with resident Sonu Singh (Sunil Grover).

Sonu seems to like the attention and begins to interact more with the rest of the housing society. The ensemble cast also features Mukul Chadda, Shonali Nagrani, Sonal Jha, Radha Bhatt, Ashish Vidyarthi, Saloni Khanna and Ashwin Kaushal.

The entire tone of the show is a bit quirky with most of the characters having odd tics and characteristics that define them. Of course, Grover’s Sonu stands out as the strangest in the bunch, and while there seem to be many suspects, the trailer doesn’t point to a motive for the crime.

The web-series has been co-directed by Vikas Bahl and Rahul Sengupta and filmed in Mumbai. Sunflower is due to be released online on 11 June.
