Renowned Marathi film editor Faisal Mahadik and publicity designer Sachin Gurav have started a consultancy business, Abra Ca Dabra, which will provide services such as creating movie trailers, designing film posters and social media marketing.

With more than 15 years of experience, Mahadik has edited several well-known Marathi films. Some of them include Pak Pak Pakaak (2005), Zenda (2009), Morya (2011), Narbachi Wadi (2013), Half Ticket (2016), Faster Fene (2017), Girlfriend (2019) and Dhurala (2020).

He has also dabbled in the Hindi sphere with the movie The Sholay Girl (2019) and web-series Ek Thi Begum (2020) and Raktanchal (2010).

Gurav has designed the posters of over 150 films.

Speaking about their venture, Mahadik and Gurav said in a statement, “Abra Ca Dabra means magic. Today, in the time of social media and OTT platforms, first looks, teasers and trailers reach people around the world just through a click. They make their decision about the film through them. In the coronavirus era, to facilitate producers and directors to get their visual promotion, poster design and social media marketing through our company under one umbrella is our only motto.”
