Familiar faces will be seen in the six tales of young romance that comprise the upcoming Netflix anthology series Feels Like Ishq.
In Ruchir Arun’s Save The Da(y)te, Radhika Madan enlists the help of Amol Parashar to find a missing friend on her wedding day. Tahira Kashyap Khurrana uses the backdrop of the pandemic in Quaranteen Crush in which neighbours Kajol Chugh and Mihir Ahuja come to enjoy each other’s company during the lockdown.
Anand Tiwari’s Star Host is set in Mahableshwar and features Rohit Saraf who has to play host to a not-so-enthusiastic guest Simran Jehani. In Danish Aslam’s She Loves Me, She Loves Me Not, Saba Azad and Sanjeeta Bhattacharya figure out their attraction to one another.
Neeraj Madhav, who was the antagonist Moosa in season one of The Family Man, seeks Zayn Khan's help as they both apply for a job in Sachin Kundalkar’s The Interview. And finally, in what seems to be a sign of the times, Tanya Maniktala and Skand Thakur meet up for a potential romantic tryst at a protest, getting arrested in the process in Jaydeep Sarkar’s Ishq Mastana.
The six stories promise intriguing meet-cutes, light-hearted humour and conflict. Feels Like Ishq, produced by Mutant Films and Awesomeness TV, is due to be released on 23 July on Netflix.
