Arjunn Dutta’s Guldasta (2020) will be available on the Zee5 OTT platform from 19 June.

Featuring Swastika Mukherjee, Arpita Pal Chatterjee and Debjani Chattopadhyay, Guldasta was released in theatres during Durga Puja last year.

A story depicting the intertwined journeys of three women, Guldasta also features Ishaan Mazumdar, Anubhav Kanjilal and Anuradha Mukherjee in crucial roles.

“This news came as a breath of fresh air in these trying, tumultuous times," director Dutta said. "Our team is thrilled. Finally people will get to see Guldasta.”

In the film, Srirupa (Chatterjee) and Renu (Chattopadhyay) seem to be caught in the mess of their respective domestic lives until Dolly (Swastika), a saleswoman with the vision of bringing happiness in her clients’ lives, makes an entry.

“On its release, the film got positive reviews from critics and audiences," the director said, "but due to the pandemic, it couldn't reach many people. Finally it's out. Now it is surely going to touch hearts. It has a great ensemble cast.”

Dutta has also completed his upcoming Shrimati with Swastika Mukherjee, Soham Chakraborty, Kheya Chattopadhyay, Barkha Bisht and Trina Saha.
