Producer Hariom Ghadage announced his maiden Marathi film production, Hari Om, in March last year on the birth anniversary of Maratha emperor Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, to whom the film is dedicated.

The makers unveiled the first poster of the film on Ghadage’s birthday, which was yesterday. It shows two shirtless young men who appear ready for a fight. It is not known who the two actors are since their backs are facing us.

The highlight of the poster is the inclusion of a huge statue of Shivaji Maharaj outside a fort. The presence of a political hoarding and a few cars with red beacons are also unmissable.

The makers have said that although Hari Om looks like an action film, it is also a family movie.

Speaking about the movie, Ghadage and director Ashish Newalkar said in a statement, “The founder of Hindvi Swaraj, Shivaji Maharaj’s nature had various specialities. The first poster of the film is released and we are dedicating it to him. Even for us, he is a Godly figure and that’s why we have made our first film after getting his blessings. Through our film, we will surely try to ensure that Shivaji Maharaj’s teachings reach the people.”
