Composed by Sachin-Jigar, the romantic tune features vocals and lyrics by Jubin Nautiyal and Amitabh Bhattacharya respectively.

After 'Panghat', the makers of the horror-comedy Roohi have now released the second song from the film, which stars Rajkummar Rao, Janhvi Kapoor, and Varun Sharma. Titled 'Kiston', the song shows how Rao's character Bhawra falls in love with the titular character, played by Kapoor, after abducting her.

The song starts with Bhawra confessing his love to his abductee by offering her a cauliflower. In the video, we also see Rao, and Sharma kidnapping Kapoor and bringing her to a secluded area. During their time together, Rao slowly starts falling in love with his captive. The actor has played a similar role in Fanney Khan where his character falls in love with his captive played by Aishwarya Rai.

After the upbeat dance number that is 'Panghat', this love ballad comes as a refreshing change. The soulful music by Sachin-Jigar is the main USP of the song, which has the simple unadulterated vibe of a romantic tune from the 1990s. Nautiyal also shines with his melodious rendition. His soothing voice has a calming effect on your ears. Bhattacharya's lyrics once again are quite interesting — especially, the idea of confessing love in installments.

Helmed by Hardik Mehta and produced by Dinesh Vijan, Roohi is the second film in the Maddock Film's horror-comedy universe after Stree (2018).
