SVF Entertainment has announced Karna Subarne’r Guptodhon (2022), the third film in Dhrubo Banerjee’s adventure film franchise Guptodhon, which revolves around treasure hunts.

The film will see Abir Chatterjee, Arjun Chakraborty and Ishaa Saha reprise their respective roles as Sona Da, Abir and Jhinuk from the previous instalments, Guptodhoner Sondhane (2018) and Durgeshgorer Guptodhon (2019).

Stating that the Guptodhon series has always been very close to his heart, Banerjee said in a statement, "My journey with SVF and mainstream Bengali films started with the very team of Guptodhoner Sondhane. I take immense pleasure to learn that both Guptodhoner Sondhane and Durgeshgorer Guptodhon were intensely loved and enjoyed by the audience. With the same hope and expectation, I am presenting the third film of the Guptodhon franchise: Karna Subarne’r Guptodhon."

In the previous films, the treasure hunts took place in West Bengal's Monikantoput and Durgeshgor regions. This time, the director, without revealing much regarding the plot, stated that events will unfold on a much large scale. “The film is about unearthing one of the greatest treasures of Bengal - one that has only been heard of in tales since ages. With history and thrills coming together, I can vouch that the film will be a complete entertainer,” said Banerjee.

Slated to be released in 2022, the film will go on the floors soon.
