Live entertainment platform Playtoome Originals aims to forge 1,000 content partnerships this year

The new vertical offers music artistes the opportunity to showcase their creations.

India’s first online live entertainment platform, Playtoome, has announced its target of 1,000 content partnerships this year, under its new vertical, Playtoome Originals. Under the new vertical platform, the brand offers an opportunity to music artistes to showcase their creations.

Established in 2016, Playtoome connects artistes with their fans. Playtoome Originals provides services such as distribution, promotion and monetization of content by artistes who are striving to gain recognition in their field. The first single launched under Playtoome Originals in February this year was ‘Alvida’, composed and sung by renowned Kannada music director Vinay Chandra. The song was created in memory of actor Sushant Singh Rajput.

Keerthivasan Subramanian, founder and CEO, Playtoome, said, “We knew this was the right time for the launch of Playtoome Originals. Since the launch in February 2021, we have seen the number of viewers going up. We have already tied up with content creators so that we can help them with the post-production part, including distribution, monetization and promotion.

"The content is accessible across different platforms under the banner of Playtoome Originals. This way we are not just a platform anymore, but also enablers of quality content. To widen the portfolio, we are in aggressive talks with performing arts organizations and studios across India to explore content collaborations, giving talent its first stage.”
