Vijay Sethupathi and Aishwarya Rajesh's collaboration, Ka Pae Ranasingam (2020), is set for a direct OTT (over-the-top) release. The makers of the film confirmed the medium of release. This is the latest Tamil film to head for an OTT release this year with the COVID-19 induced lockdown on theatres still active.

The makers of the film announced the news of Ka Pae Ranasingam's OTT release on Twitter earlier today.

The film will also release in five Indian languages, including Tamil, and will be subtitled in over 10 international languages. With a streaming demographic across 150 countries, it will be one of the bigger releases for Sethupathi on the OTT platform.

Directed by PK Virumandi, Ka Pae Ranasingam revolves around the conflict between farmers and corporate entities seeking to usurp farmlands in the country. The teaser for the film was released earlier on 23 May.

The film is also backed by KJR Studios, and will have music by Ghibran. The release date for Ka Pae Ranasingam is not yet known.
