Filmmaker Vikram Bhatt is back with another thriller web-series, Dirty Games. The eight-episode show, starring Sandeepa Dhar and Omkar Kapoor, will be shot in Mumbai from 27 October.

All the necessary precautions and safety measures will be taken when shooting for Dirty Games begins, the makers said.

The web-series, written and directed by the filmmaker, follows a psychiatrist who gets embroiled in a murder. Produced by Krishna Bhatt under the banner Loneranger, the web-series features Khalid Siddiqui, Samay Thakkar, Vyas Hemang, Trishaan Singh Maini, Tanvi Thakkar, Coral Bhamra, Ashwin Kaushal and Prakash Jha.

The filmmaker, who last directed Hacked (2020), spoke about his experiences making online content. “I was probably the first one to start serious fiction on the net. Maaya and Twisted are in their fourth season now and that makes me really happy. However, in these years the OTT game has changed and both the content and the competition is much more fierce.”

“Showbiz is like a game of cricket. You need to get out there and play a scintillating knock every once in a while. Here is to another scintillating knock, knock on wood!” he said.

Dirty Games is due to be released on MX Player.
