SOS Kolkata song 'Thik Bhul Bhule Aami': Tune highlights lead couple's romantic equation

The song 'Thik Bhul Bhule Aami' from Anshuman Pratyush’s upcoming film SOS Kolkata highlights the romantic feelings shared by its protagonists, played by Yash Dasgupta and Mimi Chakraborty. Pratik Kundu has composed and written the song, which he has also performed along with Anwesha Dutta Gupta.

The film primarily deals with preventing a terrorist attack in Kolkata, and Dasgupta plays a pivotal role in this. Nusrat Jahan also plays a major character in the film.

The video of the song presents Dasgupta and Chakraborty as a couple and also highlights their contrasting characteristics. While Chakraborty's character appears to be bubbly and goofy, craving attention from her partner, Dasgupta's character rather comes across as a workaholic with a serious demeanour. Chakraborty craves fun and adventure by his side, but she can't seem to persuade him to go along. The simple lyrics of the song speak of unconditional love, where one finds refuge, comfort and peace in the company of their lover.

Towards the end of the song, Chakraborty succeeds in melting the heart of her partner, who arranges for a surprise dinner for his beloved and cooks for her as well.

The song has a simple tune but isn't quite catchy. Rather, the viewer's focus is directed towards the narrative of the visuals that depict the evolving chemistry between the actors.

SOS Kolkata is slated to be released on 17 October.
