Maniesh Paul to host quiz show Beat The Genius

Maniesh Paul is set to host the quiz show Beat The Genius. The interactive show, which will be aired on Flipkart Video from 10 November, is designed to test participants' general knowledge and keep them on their toes. The contestants will be tested against a veteran of campus quizzing and public speaking, Pranab Mukherjee. In each episode, Paul will ask five questions. Mukherjee, and the audience will have only 15 seconds to answer each of them.

The audience will have the advantage of having four options to choose from while the genius will not have any, thereby increasing the user’s probability of winning prizes.

Commenting on the show, Paul said “It is good to be back on Flipkart Video to host Beat The Genius. We spend so much time at home hooked to our smartphones and playing quizzes. This show is a challenging and fun way to race your inquisitive minds and learn something more every time. Beat The Genius will engage the audience with its innovative take on the quiz format. I am positive that this exciting show will have the entire family hooked.”

This is Paul's second project with Flipkart.  Earlier during the lockdown, Paul had also hosted the two seasons of Flipkart Video's game show Kya Bolti Public.
