Shah Rukh Khan might be taking a break from the big screen, but he is on the move as a producer. The actor's Red Chillies Entertainment made its first major collaboration with Netflix on Bard Of Blood (2019). Now, the first look for the second production, Betaal, has been released. Featuring Vineet Kumar, Jitendra Joshi and Aahana Kumra, the web-series will be streamed on Netflix from 24 May.
The first look of the series features Vineet Kumar. The short snippet captures the Mukkabaaz (2018) actor looking towards the camera as the background lights up the dark, grimy interior of a room.

The thriller web-series reportedly revolves around a remote village that becomes the centre for a battle with a two-century-old betaal (spirit) of a British officer. The officer leads his zombie battalion against the counter-insurgency division and the hapless villagers.
Blumhouse Television and SK Entertainment are the executive producers of the web-series which is produced by Khan's Red Chillies Entertainment. Betaal is part of five originals, including a production by Anushka Sharma, to be launched by Netflix.
Betaal is directed by Patrick Graham, who also helmed the Netflix original movie Ghoul (2018).
