Legendary Global and Library Pictures, both based in Los Angeles, USA, will produce two seasons of a new, currently untitled Hindi web-series by filmmaker Vikramaditya Motwane. According to a report on Variety magazine's website, the upcoming series is described as a "young adult dark comedy-drama".

Motwane will write and direct the web-series and also serve as executive producer. The series has been co-created by Abhay Koranne who will also write it with Motwane. Motwane's production company Andolan will provide production services.

Motwane made his breakthrough in Hindi cinema with Udaan (2010), which was premiered at the Cannes film festival in the Un Certain Regard category. He has since made the films Lootera (2013), Trapped (2017) and Bhavesh Joshi Superhero (2018). He worked as both director and showrunner on Netflix's cult show, Sacred Games.

"This is a story very close to my heart and I am looking forward to collectively creating an incredible experience for local as well as global audiences,” Motwane said in a statement.

The plot, cast and streaming platform for the web-series are yet to be announced.
