Goshta Eka Paithanichi teaser: Village girl Sayali Sanjeev's dreams revolve around a Paithani saree

Sayali Sanjeev’s next is Shantanu Ganesh Rode’s Goshta Eka Paithanichi. The teaser of the film throws some light on the film’s subject and its protagonist. 

Produced by Planet Marathi, Golden Ratio Films and Lakeside Productions, the film is based in the Konkan region of Maharashtra. We are able to feast our eyes on the picturesque location in the teaser itself. 

Goshta Eka Paithanichi sees Sayali play a simple, ordinary village girl. She dreams about things like a car and a bungalow of her own. But what she wants most is a Paithani [a type of a silk saree made in Paithan, Maharashtra]. 

It is this Paithani, which gets a good amount of footage in the teaser. The scenes on the making of the saree indicate the importance of the Paithani to the story. The main subject of the film is currently kept under wraps. 

Sayali, who is a popular face in Marathi television, fits the part well. Her last film AB Aani CD (2020) was also with Planet Marathi. Suvraj Joshi plays a fellow villager who is a flower seller. The film also stars Milind Gunaji in the role of Inamdar and Shashank Ketkar.
