Veteran singer Anup Jalota has been in quarantine since the last few days as a precautionary measure to the coronavirus pandemic. India has temporarily banned travellers from the United Kingdom, the European Union, and European Free Trade Association from today.
The singer was in Europe for his concert and landed back Mumbai from London, England. From the airport, he was directly taken to a Andheri hotel where he has been isolated since then.
The 66-year-old singer shared his update on his Twitter account. The singer, looked tired, but in good spirits, as he lowered his face mask for a selfie.

Jalota said he was impressed with the way the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) provided medical aid to senior citizens. He also appealed to other passengers who are landing in Mumbai to cooperate with officials to help stop the further spread of COVID-19.
As of now, there are 145 positive cases in India for COVID-19, with 41 of them from Maharashtra alone. Yesterday, the Maharashtra government started marking people who have been asked to self-quarantine at home with a stamp on their left hand.
