Lal Bhatia and Imran Zaki, who run the production house David & Goliath, have announced that they will be producing 50 short films in the next five years.

The announcement came on the back of their latest critically acclaimed short Every 68 Minutes. The film starring Richa Sharma, Adil Hussain and Tota Roy Choudhury has been to numerous international film festivals.

Producer Lal Bhatia said in a statement, “We are pleased and feel invigorated with the kind of response we are getting at various screenings across the globe for our film Every 68 Minutes. We will take it to all possible film festivals to reach a larger audience." He also said they are in talks with OTT platforms to release the film online later this year.

Revealing their future plans, co-producer Imran Zaki said, "We are looking for more commercially viable projects and the right people to work with, people who are equally ambitious and enthusiastic like us. We are here to make around 50 such projects in the next five years.”

Zaki also revealed that they are producing a Hindi web-series starring some popular names along with three more web-series which are currently in pre-production. "Once we come out of the pandemic, we will announce our next line-up with talented technicians including scriptwriters, directors, and actors," he said.
