Helo Films And Frames Digital Film Awards show to stream from 5 July

Films and Frames have come up with the idea of digital award show called Films And Frames Digital Film Awards, presented by Helo and FFACE. Conceived by Neil Roy, the award show, directed by Sudeshna Roy, Abhijit Guha and Pallavi Chatterjee, will be available from 5 July on Helo as well as Facebook, IGTV and YouTube.
The show will offer an at-home experience with the first ever 9:16 vertical format professional shoot, specifically designed for social media viewing experience. Parambrata Chatterjee will host the ceremony and awards will be given away in 40 different categories for films released between 1 April, 2019 to 31 March, 2020.
Leading artistes from Bengal will be present from their Helo accounts to engage and entertain viewers, in addition to other various virtual performances.
The brand new logo of the Digital Film Awards was launched in the presence of national award-winning directors Goutam Ghose and Prabhat Roy and artistes Aparajita Adhya and Srabanti Chatterjee.
“Since these are unprecedented times, many filmmakers believe that movies and film awards should be given the digital platform as we are in the middle of a crisis. This is going to be the first-ever digital film award show,” said Roy.
