The title and first look of Prabhas’s next multilingual project will be announced on Friday 10 July, its makers revealed on Wednesday through a new poster.
Tipped to be a period romantic drama, two titles, Jaan and Radheshyam, have reportedly made it to the final shortlist. The official title will be announced on Friday.
Directed by Radha Krishna Kumar, the film marks the maiden collaboration of Prabhas and Pooja Hegde. The film, which will be released in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi and Malayalam, is being jointly produced by Gopikrishna Movies and UV Creations. Amit Trivedi is said to have been signed on to compose the music.
The project was officially launched a year ago in Hyderabad. The film, to be predominantly shot abroad, was to start rolling in November 2018 but had to be postponed because of the delay in completing Saaho (2019).
Prabhas and Radha Krishna were supposed to join hands for this project even before Saaho. However, owing to the Baahubali star’s other commitments, this project took time to even get commissioned.
Talking about the project, Radha Krishna had said a few months ago: “At the moment, all I can say is that it’s going to be a love story which will be shot on a lavish scale. We have finalized Europe where most of the shooting will happen.”
In March, the team shot a schedule in Georgia, one of the former Soviet republics, amidst the coronavirus outbreak around the world.
“One more schedule done!! I thank the Georgian team for helping us finish a kick-ass schedule!! Lovely people you are,” Radha Krishna had tweeted then.
