Not looking at digital release for Ravi Teja-starrer Krack, says producer

Actor Ravi Teja’s upcoming Telugu action drama, Krack (2020), directed by Gopichand Malineni will only release in cinemas. The makers have clarified that they have no plans to release the film digitally on an OTT platform. .
Reacting to news that Krack would directly release on an OTT platform, producer B Madhu said they haven't even completed shooting the project. In his latest interview to a leading Telugu daily, he confirmed that there's still 15 days of shoot left. He also clarified that they're not even considering releasing their film on any OTT platform and are keen to have a theatrical release.
Krack marks the third film that Ravi Teja and Malineni have worked on together after Don Seenu (2010) and Balupu (2016). it is also the second time that Ravi Teja and Shruti Haasan wil be cast together after Balupu .Tipped to be an action-thriller, the film will see Ravi Teja play a cop.
The film’s first look poster was released last November while the teaser was released earlier this year. Krack also features Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Samuthirakani, Ali, Devi Prasad, Chirag Jani, Mouryani, Sudhakar and Vamsi Chaganti in pivotal roles.
Ravi Teja was last seen on screen in Disco Raja (2020), which was directed by VI Anand However, the film failed at the box-office. After a string of flops, Ravi Teja has pinned his hopes on Krack.
It remains to be see if the successful combination of Ravi Teja and Malineni can deliver another hit to make it a hat-trick.
