Directed by Vijay Jayapal, the psychological horror film was premiered at the Busan International Film Festival last year.
Nirvana Inn revolves around a man who has migrated from Assam to the hills of Himachal Pradesh and becomes the caretaker of a guesthouse called Nirvana Inn. But his past won't let him be and a series of supernatural events start unfolding around him.
The film had been noted for its use of Hitchcockian elements and, of course, for Adil Hussain's performance. Nirvana Inn also stars Rajshri Deshpande and Sandhya Mridul.
Fantaspoa is the largest genre festival in South America. Though the event was slated to take place in May this year, the organizers have veered towards an online festival from 24 July–2 August on account of the COVID-19 pandemic. Brazil is among the worst-hit countries, ranking next only to the United States in number of positive cases and deaths. India is in third spot in terms of cases and eight in deaths as of today.
