Where the first song of Panga (2020), 'Le Le Panga' was a scintillating high-energy track about Kangana Ranaut’s comeback into national level kabbadi, this new song is a soothing track that chronicles the sweet romantic moments of Kangana Ranaut and Jassie Gill’s relationship in the film.

'Dil Ne Kaha' starts with Kangana Ranaut's character Jaya introducing Jassie Gill to her friend Meenu played by Richa Chadha. Then we see montages of few romantic moments of the couple. The visuals are interjected with Jassie Gill's behind the scenes video from the recording studio as he sings the track.

The song is composed by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy who are known for their acute rhythmic sense and here also, we see them displaying their talent. Some portions of the song remind you of Shankar Mahadevan’s own song ‘Breathless’. The smart use of percussion also makes an impact. The specific use of drum beats preceded by tabla beats will especially catch your attention if you are a keen listener.

Javed Akhtar's lyrics are simple, but impactful. Gill’s vocal texture perfectly suits this song and he completely owns the track. Asees Kaur also provides able support.

Overall, this is one of the better romantic song from Hind cinema in last few months.

Panga is directed by Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari and also features Richa Chadha in supporting role. The film is due to be released on 24 January 2020. Watch the song below and let us know if you are keen to watch the film.
