Ayushmann Khurrana returns to the mic with the latest song from Shubh Mangal Zyaada Savdhan. The actor, a former VJ and radio jockey, looks quite in form as he sings another ode to love, this time to Jitendra Kumar, through Tanishk Bagchi and Vayu's composition. Titled 'Mere Liye Tum Kaafi Ho', the song is a lovely and romantic track that is certainly good enough to be played on repeat.

With the song, Khurrana returns to one of his favourite tasks, singing. The actor broke out with 'Paani Da' from his debut Vicky Donor (2012), but since then has sung on and off for his.

Now, the actor has returned with a wonderful addition. While the song looks like it might be a promotional track, which might not feature in the film, it is nevertheless quite a pleasant one.

Composed by Tanishk Bagchi and Vayu, the song is simple, minimalistic, and easy on the ears. With just the basic guitar rhythm providing the base, the song depends a great deal on Khurrana's vocals. The singer does a decent enough job.

The true credit though goes to Bagchi and Vayu for building a composition that flows with seamless ease through the lyrics.

Crafted beautifully, Vayu's lyrics are a smart way of staying gender-neutral, although the visuals continue to narrate the story of Khurrana's Kartik and Jitendra Kumar's Aman. For all its posturing, commercial cinema does require some side stepping.

Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan is directed by Hitesh Kewalya, and is set to release in theatres on 21 February 2020. Watch the song below, and let us know if you are keen to watch the film
