All the anthologies we have seen in Hindi so far have had a common theme running through them. For example, Bombay Talkies (2013) was about films while Ghost Stories (2020) was about supernatural elements. Zindagi In Short will explore various facets of love through seven short films directed by seven different directors.

Swaaha by Smrutika Panigrahi features Isha Talwar and Deepak Dobriyal in the lead while Pinni by Tahira Kashyap Khurrana stars Neena Gupta as the protagonist. Punarvasu Naik's Sleeping Partner stars Divya Dutta and Sanjay Kapoor. The trailer has been smartly edited with interjecting visuals from all seven shorts.

The anthology is produced by Guneet Monga and Achin Jain under their banner Sikhya Entertainment. They have produced some critically acclaimed indie films like The Lunchbox (2013),  Masaan (2015) and Haraamkhor (2017).
