Rinku Rajguru's mercurial presence was one of the highlights of Sairat (2016), and it is good to know that the actress still possesses that quality after her soaring debut. Her latest venture into the digital domain with the Disney+ Hotstar series, Hundred, promises a rollicking, fun adventure, with a touch of tragicomedy on the side. Featuring Lara Dutta Bhupathi, Karan Wahi, Parmeet Sethi, Makrand Deshpande, the series will stream on the OTT platform from 25 April onwards.

The fun trailer begins with Rajguru's Netra Patil, who struggles to match her dreams of visiting Switzerland with the reality of working in a government office. In addition, Netra is struggling with a tumour that is spreading fast and threatening to bring her short life to a sudden close. Similarly, Dutta Bhupathi plays a police officer, who has been reduced to a symbolic backup in a male-dominated force. When both women meet, they find a way to turn Netra's short, unadventurous life into something more exciting. Soon, Netra is working as an undercover operative, trying to break a corruption racket, leading to some hilarious moments.

The trailer is crisp, interesting, and filled with some sparkling moments. Most of these are dominated by Rajguru, who plays the fickle but spunky Netra with flair. The series also marks a comeback for Dutta Bhupathi, who looks to be a good casting choice as the cop with a point to prove. With a cast that includes Deshpande, Sethi and Wahi as Rajguru's romantic interest, the series promises to be an interesting watch.
