Karan Johar's Dharma Productions pledges support to those affected by lockdown


The production house will extend its support to the various causes initiated by the government and a host of NGOs, like Goonj, GiveIndia Fundraisers, Feeding India and the International Association For Human Values (IAHV).

With the country in lockdown till 3 May because of the COVID-19 pandemic, daily-wage earners are finding it difficult to survive. In these difficult times, the Hindi film industry has rallied together to provide financial support to the daily-wage earners.  Producer-director Karan Johar's Dharma Productions has decided to extend its support to the various causes initiated by the government and a host of NGOs to help those affected by the lockdown. 


The production house will provide support to the chief minister's relief fund, the PM CARES fund, as well as to NGOs like Goonj, GiveIndia Fundraisers, Feeding India and the International Association For Human Values (IAHV). 


As of now, India has 14,378 confirmed cases of coronavirus, while 480 people have lost their lives to this infection.
