Director Jeethu Joseph, who rose to fame with his critically-acclaimed Malayalam thriller Drishyam (2013), is getting ready for another thriller and he’s apparently roped in Mohanlal and Trisha for this yet-untitled project.

To be only made in Malayalam, the film will marks Joseph’s second collaboration with Mohanlal after Drishyam. It’ll be Trisha’s second Malayalam film after Nivin Pauly-starrer Hey Jude (2018), which earned her great praise for her performance.

It’ll also be the first time Trisha and Mohanlal will be seen sharing screen space together. Tipped to be a big-budget project, the film will be shot in India as well as abroad.

According to a report by CinemaExpress.com: “Some of the filming locations will include Cairo, UK, Canada, Kerala, and Delhi. The Chennai-based Abhishek Films is bankrolling the project. The shoot, which is expected to begin by November, has been scheduled to go on for 100 days.”

Currently busy with the post-production of his yet-untitled Tamil film starring Jyotika and Karthi; Jeethu is looking forward to begin work on his new project.

In his upcoming Tamil film, Karthi and Jyothika will be seen playing siblings. It’ll also be the first time they’ll be seen working together on screen. The film is believed to be a thriller set within a family.

Meanwhile, Jeethu also awaits the release of his Hindi debut Body, featuring Emraan Hashmi and Rishi Kapoor. A remake of a Korean film of the same name, the project has been long completed, but is still struggling to release for reasons unknown.
