War song 'Ghungroo': Life's a party for Hrithik Roshan, Vaani Kapoor in this breezy number

Before he takes on Tiger Shroff in War (2019), Hrithik Roshan's Kabir decides to let his hair down for a bit. In the first out for the film, Hrithik and Vaani Kapoor are enjoying a sun-kissed European vacation by the water and dance away in the breezy track by composers Vishal-Shekhar.
The couple spend their time in what looks like Positano, Italy, as typical tourists, doing a bit of shopping, indulging in some wine and dance and basically being in love. It seems as if Kapoor's character is also some kind of performer at a club where she performs some incredible water acrobatics during the song.
The iconic ghazal 'Ghungroo Toot Gaye' by Pankaj Udhas has been reinvented in a light, airy dance number for the lead pair by Vishal-Shekhar. It helps that they chose the vocals of Arijit Singh and Shilpa Rao to elevate the song. And they do, by keeping the timbre of their voices even and low, it's perfect for a listen going down for a road trip somewhere.
Lyricist Kumaar keeps the original chorus of the ghazal, but adds his touch with a number that is all about living life to the fullest. 'Ghungroo' feels like another winner by Vishal-Shekhar.
War, directed by Siddharth Anand, is due to be released on 2 October. Watch the song below and let us know if you are keen to watch the film.
