With the (Over-the-top) OTT media platform business booming, it seems a surprise that Manoj Bajpayee had missed out. The actor is set to rectify it with the teaser of his upcoming, The Family Man, on Amazon Prime Video.
The series, helmed by Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK, will revolve around the life of Srikant Tiwari, a high-level intelligence officer hiding his real job from his family.
The teaser begins with the sight of Bajpayee's Srikant working on his early morning yoga, when he gets a call. Soon, the visual montage of him in between chasing targets, on boats, in tunnels and shooting away is mixed with the sights of his family. The mix offers the promise of an interesting series.
The Family Man will mark Bajpayee's debut on the digital medium. The actor was last seen in Abhishek Chaubey's Sonchiriya (2019).
In addition to Bajpayee, the series will also feature Shreya Dhanwantary, Sharad Kelkar, Sharib Hashmi among others.
The trailer to the web-series is likely to arrive on 5 September. The Family Man will stream on Amazon Prime in the third week of September.
