Made In China song ‘Odhani’: Mouni Roy, Rajkummar Rao set the floor on fire

Neha Kakkar’s smooth voice is also a major reason for the song being enjoyable.

Rajkummar Rao plays a Gujarati businessman in the upcoming Made In China (2019). So, it doesn’t come as a surprise to see a popular Gujarati song remixed in the movie. In this occasion, it’s the popular dandiya number ‘Odhani’ that has been given a Hindi flavour.

The Salman Khan-starrer Jai Ho (2014) had a Hindi-Gujarati song in the form of ‘Photocopy'. The ‘Odhani’ song is way better than that.

The track is mostly in Hindi with only few parts in Gujarati. The line is ‘Odhani odhu odhu ne udi jaye’ but they have been changed to, ‘Odhani odhu odhu par udi jaye'.

However, this still doesn’t stop the song from being a pleasing foot-tapping number, thanks to composer duo Sachin-Jigar. Neha Kakkar’s smooth voice is also a major reason for the song being enjoyable with Darshan Rawal also displaying his impressive vocals. Lyricists Niren Bhatt and Jigar Saraiya have woven Hindi lyrics well with the original lines.

Although the song has Gujarati flavour, the setting is Chinese, keeping in tune with the title of the film. Mouni Roy looks gorgeous and oozes confidence in her dance. Rao also impresses with his dancing skills.

Directed by Mikhil Musale, Made In China will be released during Diwali. Watch the song below and let us know if you are keen to watch the film.
