The Zoya Factor's theme of romance is colouring the music for the entire film as well. So far, the two songs released by the producers have centred on the romance of the lead couple played by Dulquer Salmaan and Sonam Kapoor Ahuja.

The song unfolds along with the romance between the cricket captain played by Dulquer and the public relations manager played by Kapoor.

Composed by the trio of Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy, the song is wonderfully layered. Beginning with a mellow introduction, the song takes its time through Yasser Desai's vocals.

With little instrumentation to impede Desai's voice, the composers allow the lyrics to come through. The eventual crescendo is reached with a burst of rhythmic instruments that makes for a harmonious tune.

The song has been sung wonderfully by Desai, who takes on the entire composition. The singer has a melodious and soothing voice that suits the tempo and harmony of the composition.

Amitabh Bhattacharya's lyrics are simple and make the most of the point with little need for any emphasis.

The Zoya Factor, directed by Abhishek Sharma, is set to be released on 20 September. Watch the song below and let us know if you are keen to watch the film.
