Ever since the release of the Prabhas-starrer Saaho on Friday, social media has been flooded with memes taking a dig at the film's content, which has not been getting a positive response from audiences or critics.

Amidst this, Saaho has also been accused by netizens of being a copy of the French thriller Largo Winch (2008). One fan also tagged Largo Winch director Jerome Salle, informing him of his film having been possibly plagiarized in India.

Salle had a sarcastic response: "I think I have a promising career in India." Now, whether the French director believes Saaho has been copied from his film or he was only kidding is known only to him.

Earlier, Telugu star Pawan Kalyan's Agnyaathavaasi (2018) was also believed to have been 'inspired' by Largo Winch. The plot in all three films is about a man who comes to know about his wealthy father's death and his subsequent effort to keep his businesses alive while battling various enemies.

Directed by Sujeeth and also starring Shraddha Kapoor, Saaho had a successful opening day with its Hindi version alone raking in Rs24 crore.
