Prathamesh Parab to star in and as Talli


As the title suggests, the film will be a humorous affair.

Popular young actor Prathamesh Parab will next be seen in the Marathi film titled Talli (2020), which translates to ‘Drunk.’ The film will see him play a drunkard. It will be directed by the duo of Ganesh-Suresh and produced by Sanjay Golapkar for Zebra Entertainment. 

The makers have shared the title poster of the film today,which depicts an artistic image of an old blue-coloured wall. 

Speaking about the film, Golapkar said in an official statement, “This is the first film of our banner. As per the name, it is going to be an out-and-out comedy film. Prathamesh Parab’s name in the film is Talli. Going by this, you can just imagine how humorous the film will be.” 

Parab is pleased to have got an opportunity to play a titular character. "The audience in Maharashtra has so far given a great response to my humour. Although Talli is a humorous film, it also carries a social message," he said in an official statement.

"This is the first time that I will be introduced as ‘in and as Talli.’ This is a proud moment for any actor. My look will be different in this film. I will soon start physical training for the film," he added.

Parab was last seen in Khichik last month. Talli is expected to be released in 2020.
