Madhuri Dixit’s next film as a producer titled Panchak goes on floors

Madhuri Dixit's next Marathi film as a producer titled Panchak has begun filming. Co-produced by her husband Dr Sriram Madhav Nene, the film marks the directorial debut of Jayant Jathar and it stars Adinath Kothare in the lead. The mahurat of the film took place recently.
The news was shared by Dixit herself on her social media channels. She shared a picture from the mahurat of the shoot with the entire team and wrote, “We are bringing yet another movie for you as producers. Here’s wishing all the best to the entire team of Panchak.”

The film also stars Tejashree Pradhan, Nandita Patkar, Anand Ingle, Bharati Achrekar, Vidyadhar Joshi and Satish Alekar.
Before turning director, Jathar has been an editor for almost a decade. His filmography includes popular and acclaimed titles like Natarang (2010), Balak Palak (2012), Timepass (2014), Yellow (2014), Happy Journey (2014), Shentimental (2017), Kaccha Limbu (2017) and few others.
This is Dixit’s second Marathi movie as a producer. Her first titled 15 August (2018) released last year on Netflix. It also starred Kothare in the lead along with Mrunmayee Deshpande, Rahul Pethe and Vaibhav Mangle.
