After the revelation of his role in Star Trek: Discovery, Adil Hussain has another international trip on his itinerary. Lorni: The Flaneur will travel to Estonia for the Talinn Black Nights International Film Festival.
The film, directed by Wanphrang Diengdoh, is shot completely in the language of Khasi, and features Hussain as a detective trying to solve the mystery of an unusual robbery.

Held from 15 November to 1 December, the film festival will see Lorni: The Flaneur compete in the First Feature Competition section. CineEuropa.org quoted the festival's director and programmer, Tina Lokk, saying, "It is a great honour and an even greater responsibility to host the world premiere of an artist’s debut, thus extra-special consideration is always given by the team to the selection of these films."
The film will compete with Rene Pannevis's The Looted, Jure Pavlovic's Mater, Matias Ganz's A Dog's Death, Cory Santili's Saul At Night, Park Hee-kwon's Dust And Ashes, Bernardo Barreto's The Seeker and Bahman Tavoosi's The Flowers for the top prize.
